Varieties can be somewhat interchangeable depending on where they fall on the map. Growers located near the boundary between long-day and intermediate-day regions can often grow either successfully. Intermediate-day varieties typically mature slightly earlier than long-day varieties. The chart below serves as a general guide, though many regions can successfully grow more than one daylength type.
